Valerianella dentata L. (Roszpunka ząbkowana ) – A plant that belongs to the Valerianaceae family. There are 6 species of Valerianella dentata in Poland. It is an annual, winter plant with white-blue tiny flowers, a small or reduced calix and undivided leaves. It blooms from June to August. It’s a self-pollinating plant. The species is frequent in many regions. Occurs on clay-soiled lowlands and in the mountains (less often in the north). It prefers soils with neutral or alkaline pH.
