Arenaria serpyllifolia L.- Piaskowiec macierzankowy – An annual plant from the clove family, spring or winter. Stem spread out, highly branched, 5-20 cm high. Leaves 3-7 cm long, ovate, sharpened, lower on short petioles, upper seated. Flowers on stalks, in the axils of the upper leaves. Plots dip-covered, longer than the white petals of the crown. Purse ovoid, opens with slightly flared teeth. Gray-green plant. It flowering from May to October. It is a weed of cereals, clovers and other crops. Position in full or moderate light. Occurs on sandy, humus and also limestone soils.
